The Bhitshah Culture Center, Culture Department, Government of Sindh, has successfully launched free musical classes at the Bhitshah Cultural Center, aiming to promote art, culture, and creative expression among the youth.

The initiative has received an overwhelming response, with more than 56 students enrolled, including a significant number of female participants. To ensure a comfortable and encouraging learning environment, separate classes have been arranged for girls.

The course is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in music, focusing on basic techniques, rhythm, and vocal training. The program will continue until 10th June, offering participants an opportunity to develop their skills under professional guidance.

This initiative reflects the Culture Department’s commitment to preserving Sindh’s rich musical heritage while empowering the younger generation through accessible and inclusive learning opportunities.

DG Culture visited Bhitshah Cultural Center and toured its key facilities including the museum, rest house, auditorium, Fankar hostel, and other units. During the visit, Deputy Director Bhitshah briefed him on recent events and ongoing initiatives for cultural preservation. The DG Culture appreciated the efforts being made at Bhitshah Cultural Center and encouraged further strengthening of cultural activities. Assistant Director Waqar Buriro also accompanied the DG Culture.

A soulful moment at the shrine of Hazrat Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai (RA), as Federal Minister for National Heritage & Culture, Govt. of Pakistan, Mr. Aurangzeb Kichi, along with Secretary NH&CD Mr. Asad Rehman Gilani, DG PNCA Mr. Ayoob Jamali, and other officers and officials, listened to the timeless raag that echoes Sindh’s spiritual heritage.
The gathering reflected deep appreciation for Sindh’s cultural legacy, nurtured under the dedicated leadership of the Honorable Minister for Culture, Govt. of Sindh.
