H.E. Yerzhan Kistafin, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Pakistan, visited the historic Lahore Museum, where he was warmly received by Director Taseer Ahmad along with senior museum officials.

During the visit, H.E was given a comprehensive tour of the museum’s distinguished galleries, offering insight into the rich cultural heritage and artistic legacy preserved within. The interaction reflected a shared appreciation for history, culture, and continued collaboration between Pakistan and Kazakhstan in the fields of heritage and tourism.

The Magnificent Punjab Tourism & Investment Expo 2026, an initiative of the Tourism, Archaeology and Museums (TAM) Department, Government of Punjab, stands as a premier platform dedicated to strengthening and showcasing the province’s dynamic tourism landscape.

Bringing together key stakeholders from across the tourism ecosystem, the Expo will present a comprehensive view of Punjab’s immense potential. Visitors will experience a diverse showcase of destinations from across the province, reflecting the true essence of Magnificent Punjab. From historic landmarks and world-class museums to sacred sites, adventure tourism, experiential resorts, and vibrant cultural festivities, the event captures the depth and diversity of the region.

Scheduled for April 28 and 29 at Expo Centre, Lahore, the Expo is guided by the theme:
“Celebrating Punjab’s archaeological, adventure, and religious tourism through its museums, resorts, festivity, travel and hospitality ecosystem.”

Travel remains a powerful gateway to discovery, offering meaningful experiences that connect people with heritage, spirituality, culture, and cuisine. Each journey across Punjab opens new perspectives and deeper appreciation for its rich identity.

With a strong emphasis on responsible tourism, the Expo invites visitors, investors, and enthusiasts to explore emerging opportunities and rediscover the province’s timeless charm.
