While Brazil is renowned for its high-quality rose quartz, the specimens from Afghanistan often surpass them in both color and crystal form. This magnificent piece from Dara-i-Pech, Kunar Province, perfectly showcases that distinction. It features an intense, vibrant pink rose quartz with a glowing inner tone, arranged in elegant flower-like clusters that rise beautifully across a creamy albite matrix. Golden-yellow childrenite crystals are scattered delicately among the rose quartz, creating a pleasing contrast that enhances the specimen’s natural appearance. The overall shape resembles a dragon-like formation, giving the piece a sense of motion and character. The crack visible in the video on the backside was the point where the top section had detached; it has been professionally repaired and clip-fitted back into place without any restoration, preserving its authenticity and natural beauty.
