Vladimir Volegov returns to Sweden.

We are delighted to welcome Vladimir Volegov back to Sweden with a brand-new collection of original works, defined by natural light, human intimacy and the Mediterranean warmth that has become synonymous with his painting.

Borås Antikmässa öppnar i dag!

Look again. What appears to be folded paper is entirely painted.

In Paketerad Frukost i det Gröna av Claude Monet, Yrjö Edelmann turns canvas into illusion. Even the tape, folds and shadows are painted, while the title quietly leads us back to Monet’s Luncheon on the Grass.

Edelmann built these surfaces in thin layers of oil, using a glazing technique rooted in the Renaissance, until the illusion holds even up close. At Borås Antikmässa, you’ll have the opportunity to experience this work in person and discover the details easily missed at first glance.
