Pointy hat wisdom and some studio time creating art. ✨

I’ve always had a soft spot for Gandalf’s way of putting things.

Maybe it really is the small things.

The kindness we show.
The way we speak to each other.
A little patience. A little understanding.
Checking in. Making someone laugh. Choosing kindness when no one is watching.

We never really know what someone else is carrying.

And maybe those small, ordinary acts of kindness are more powerful than we realise.

A little light goes a long way. ✨

So, today’s reminder from the grey man in the pointy hat:

Be kind. Love a little more. And never underestimate the small things.

The quirks. The oddities. The slightly weird bits.
And to be proud of them instead of hiding them.

Because life is too short to be normal.

Tomorrow is Kulturnatten — or, in English, the Night of Culture and Arts. ✨

I’m so excited to be exhibiting my art at Stil Vintage in Uppsala from 12:00 on the 12th.

Come by, have a look, say hi, and soak up some art, creativity, great clothing and Kulturnatten magic.

I can’t promise normal and well rested..

From the beginning… 🦉

I’ve always had a thing for owls.

They’ve followed me through stories, sketches, ideas and little pieces of magic for as long as I can remember. And eventually, one of them became the symbol — and the name — of my little creative universe: Glow Owl Art.

But somehow, the owl itself has never had its own Glow Code.

Until now.

Maybe it’s time. ✨

This is the beginning for a new friend in the series.

I’ve started making a little series about the things I love — the stories, places, people, weird little obsessions and pieces of life that have shaped me along the way.

Not necessarily things that have anything to do with painting. Just bits and pieces that might give you a little more of the background behind the person making the art.

I went for a walk this afternoon, and when I came down towards the lake, the light was sparkling through the trees. For a moment, it felt like I had suddenly stepped right into Tolkien’s Middle-earth.

I’ve always been in love with Tolkien’s world. The magical adventures, the darkness, the strange creatures, the epic stories… all of it.

There is a number of quotes that is so lovely from his stories and this quote has always stayed with me.

“All you have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to you.”

It’s such a simple thought. And somehow incredibly complicated.

Maybe that’s what I love about it.
