A SATORI MOMENT – Opening Soon

Discover A SATORI MOMENT, an exhibition bringing together three artists whose practices explore the delicate threshold between perception and understanding.

Inspired by the concept of satori in Zen Buddhism - a sudden flash of awareness - this exhibition invites viewers to pause and reflect on the quiet moments when insight emerges.

Featuring works by Mona Choo (Singapore) (), Jan Wisse (Netherlands) (), and Quek Kiat Sing (Singapore) (), the exhibition presents diverse artistic approaches that explore consciousness, human experience, and the subtle connections between inner awareness and the world around us.

Featured in Artsy’s Most Loved
We’re delighted to share that Dylan Chan’s () To Leave is to Long has been selected for Artsy’s Most Loved - a work whose quiet emotional resonance continues to draw viewers in.

Born in 1997 in Singapore, Chan’s practice explores themes of intimacy, memory, and the subtle textures of everyday life.

To Leave is to Long belongs to a series exploring silhouettes, positioned at the intersection of figuration and abstraction. The work was shortlisted for the UOB Painting of the Year 2025, one of Singapore’s most prestigious art awards.

Abstracting emotional residues from the everyday, the painting centres on a restrained yet charged gesture - one arm resting across another’s back. Tender and unresolved, it evokes the suspended temporality of parting. In Chan’s work, leaving is not a single moment, but a lingering condition.

Intersections Gallery marked the opening of ART SG 2026 with the vernissage of Until Thought Turns Into Light, our first participation in the fair. Presented in the Focus First section, the exhibition brings together works by Mona Choo () and Calvin Pang, unfolding a dialogue between geometry and rhythm, abstraction and lived experience.

Simultaneously, For Whom the Bell Tolls opened at S.E.A. Focus 2026 (), presenting works by Aung Ko (), Zoncy (.heavenly), and Jason Lim () in response to the fair’s curatorial theme, Humane Agency.

We were grateful to welcome collectors, curators, and friends to engage with both presentations in an atmosphere of thoughtful exchange. Thank you to everyone who joined us at the start of Singapore Art Week. We look forward to continuing the conversation over the coming days.
