3.5 hours boat ride to Pulau Dayang from Mersing, the last part was bumpy on the open sea! A few people 🤢🤣

Visited Pulau Aur, from village Police Station to Mosque and more. Long snorkeling session in clear water follows, underwater photos to upload later. 🥰👍

Dinner and a nice walk along Dayang Beach. Demonstrated the "Blue Tears" which we found on the beach ⛱️💙🤩

Epic Pulau Dayang Adventure & A Spectacular Night Sky!

Woke up at the crack of dawn (4:30am) to catch the Perseid meteor shower from Pulau Dayang. It was worth it! Saw Orion, Jupiter (super bright), Mars, Uranus, and even more shooting stars! 🌟💫

Refueled with a delicious breakfast before hopping on the long 3.5-hour boat ride back to Mersing. Pulau Dayang is the furthest island for West Malaysia - a record.

Mersing town had a cool vibe. Explored the Hindu and Chinese temples 🕍🏯 and stumbled upon the awesome Mersing Mural Street Art. 📸

Another fantastic seafood lunch later, we had some free time to roam around. Some friends went shopping at the 3-story Mr. DIY building. ️

Ended the day with an evening bus ride back to Singapore, feeling grateful for this epic Pulau Dayang adventure. 🌠🏝️

Nvidia's stock (NVDA.O) surged to record highs on Wednesday, pushing the AI chipmaker's valuation past the $3 trillion mark and overtaking Apple (AAPL.O) to secure the position as the world's second most valuable company.

Meanwhile, Microsoft (MSFT.O), based in Redmond, Washington, remained the most valuable company with a valuation of $3.15 trillion after its shares rose by 1.9%.

Nvidia is currently profiting from the AI boom, while companies like Apple and Meta are investing heavily in AI development.

Completed Hong Kong's "Two Peak Challenge", climbed both Lantau Peak 鳳凰山 and Sunset Peak 大東山 in the same day.

Visited Tian Tan Buddha & Po Lin Monastery, and long hikes up Lantau Peak, down to road level, and up & down Sunset Peak.

Sat on the Markers of LantauPeak and Sunset Peak - the #2 & #3 highest mountains in Hong Kong. 🇭🇰

Amazing sunset at Sunset Peak, the sky suddenly opened for some moments on a foggy day! 🤩👍
