“Partake”, watercolour.
After hundreds of details and brushstrokes, it’s now 100% finished. Sometimes, I ask myself why I continue to do all these when it seems like no one sees but I believe as my unique form of worship, He, the most important One sees and it’s why this is worth it. “Partake” watercolour.
Using motifs of the Rose of Sharon, and grapes, all referring to Jesus and how we need to be connected to the vine.
The teacup represents the act of the holy communion and how we always have an open invitation to partake in all the blessings laid out for us.

“Glow” was painted in Dec 2023. I followed Holy Spirit prompting as to what to paint, which reference photo (I changed the hair and eye color), which verse and so on. Q2 this year 2024, I e-met Julie, the lady in the photo. She’s a prayer warrior (and I have been learning a lot from her) and doesn’t she look exactly like the girl in “Glow”? She is the epitome of someone who lets her light shine, based on Matthew 5:14-16. ☝🏻☝🏻☝🏻 I am sharing here because I’m just in awe of how this all came about.
