⭐️ Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University continues to strengthen its role as a “University of Opportunity” by supporting students in developing their potential, building careers, and generating income while studying through both academic and athletic excellence.

⭐️ The university proudly congratulates Mr. Apirak Kunok, a first-year student in the Sports Science and Exercise Technology Program, Faculty of Science and Technology, for bringing honor to the university through his outstanding achievement in a national-level boxing competition.

⭐️ Competing under the name “Yodsanan M. Rajabhat Korat,” Apirak delivered an impressive and powerful performance, defeating Ayub Nuri by points in the Super Fight (69 kg) category at the THAI FIGHT LEAGUE 2026, held on May 24, 2026, at Tawanna Boxing Stadium, Bangkok.

⭐️ This achievement reflects the capability of NRRU students to develop professional-level skills alongside their academic studies, creating opportunities for career advancement and income generation while pursuing higher education. It also demonstrates the university’s commitment to producing graduates equipped with knowledge, practical skills, and real-world experience at both national and professional levels.

📣 Faculty of Public Health Empowers Entrepreneurs to Create Healthier Menus and Combat NCDs Through Better Nutrition

⭐️ On May 25, 2026, the Faculty of Public Health, Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University, organized the project “Health Promotion through Food, Nutrition, and Entrepreneurial Capacity Building for the Prevention of Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs)” at the NRRU GSB INNOVATION CENTER.

⭐️ Asst. Prof. Arnut Jaisamrarn, Ph.D., Vice President for University Council, Special, and International Affairs, presided over the opening ceremony. During the event, Ms. Naruemon Wechjakwen, Ph.D., from the Faculty of Public Health presented the project objectives and implementation plans. The program also featured special lectures on the current NCD situation in Thailand, the role of businesses in promoting health and disease prevention, and the importance of entrepreneurs in developing healthier food menus to reduce disease risks.

⭐️ The sessions were delivered by experts from the Nakhon Ratchasima Provincial Public Health Office, including Ms. Thanatsamon Panuphornphong, Head of the Non-Communicable Diseases and Disability Control Group, and Ms. Thamon Wacharamethapong, Senior Public Health Academic from the Consumer Protection and Public Health Pharmacy Group.

⭐️ The project reflects the Faculty of Public Health’s commitment to promoting health awareness, preventive healthcare, and proactive behavioral change in response to the growing challenges of non-communicable diseases, which continue to impact both public health and the national economy.

⭐️ In addition, the initiative aims to strengthen the capacity of food entrepreneurs in preparing healthier meals with reduced sugar, fat, and sodium content in accordance with Department of Health guidelines. The program also encourages the development of food standards that meet “Healthy Menu” criteria and food safety standards, contributing to the creation of healthier organizations, communities, and sustainable societies.

⭐️ On May 25, 2026, the Division of Student Development of Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University organized the opening ceremony of the workshop project “Re-Skills and Up-Skills Development in Social Engineering for Personnel” at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.

⭐️ Assoc. Prof. Adisorn Naowanondha, Ph.D., President of NRRU, presided over the opening ceremony. The training program is part of the project “Local Community Development through Soft Skills for Sustainable Area-Based Development, Fiscal Year 2026.”

⭐️ The workshop aims to strengthen analytical thinking, communication, teamwork, and adaptive skills among university personnel, preparing them to effectively respond to changes in the modern world and enhance work efficiency through the application of social engineering concepts. Developing personnel into “social engineers” is considered a key strategy in enabling the university to work closely with communities through understanding, accessibility, and sustainable development. The program emphasizes the use of soft skills to create social innovations that address the real needs of local communities in a practical and meaningful way. Held from May 25–27, 2026, the training focuses on applying the knowledge and skills gained from the workshop to benefit communities and society while strengthening the university’s role as a higher education institution committed to creating positive and sustainable change for local development.

📣 Joins Forces with the Senate Committee to Advance Temple Management and Promote Sustainable Religious Administration

⭐️ On May 22, 2026, Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University welcomed the Senate Committee on Religion, Morality, Ethics, Arts and Culture for a collaborative meeting at the Rattanaphian Room, Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University.

⭐️ Assoc. Prof. Adisorn Naowanondha, Ph.D., President of NRRU and Chairman of the Council of Presidents of Rajabhat Universities of Thailand, together with university administrators and faculty members from the Accounting Program, welcomed the committee and participated in discussions on guidelines for temple accounting systems and the development of training curricula in temple management.

⭐️ The meeting focused on the development of a temple accounting platform aimed at enhancing financial management efficiency, transparency, and standardized practices within temples. Participants also discussed future collaboration and established a working group to further develop recommendations and curriculum frameworks. This collaboration reflects another important milestone in strengthening cooperation between educational institutions and religious organizations to promote sustainable knowledge, good governance, and systematic management practices for temples and religious institutions in Thailand.

⭐️ On May 22, 2026, the Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University Alumni Association held its 2025 Annual General Meeting at the Srabua Meeting Room, Rajabhat Rangsarit Auditorium, bringing together alumni from all generations to strengthen alumni relations and support the sustainable development of the university.

⭐️ Assoc. Prof. Adisorn Naowanondha, Ph.D., President of NRRU, presided over the meeting and delivered a welcoming address along with an overview of the university’s current direction and development. Asst. Prof. Saweeya Prathanadi Chatviwattanakarn, Ph.D., Vice President for Student Development, introduced the roles and operations of the Alumni Association, as well as the membership registration process.

⭐️ The meeting was conducted by Mr. Viroj Thiamkriangrai, President of the Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University Alumni Association, together with the association committee. Alumni from all eras — including Nakhon Ratchasima Teachers College, Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat Institute, and Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University — participated actively in the event.

⭐️ In addition to organizational planning and networking activities, the Alumni Association also organized a special lecture on “Planning for Financial Security in a Volatile Economic Era,” delivered by Mr. Boonyarit Sippasuchon, Manager of Medium-Sized Business Loans in the Provinces, Bangkok Bank, and his team. The session provided practical guidance on financial planning, savings, and investment strategies to help participants build long-term financial stability.

⭐️ The meeting aimed to summarize the association’s annual activities, discuss future operational directions, and strengthen connections among alumni across generations. The Alumni Association continues to serve as an important platform for collaboration in academics, social activities, and local development while supporting the continued growth of the university. “Another great power of the university is the power of its alumni” remains a key principle in driving the university and its alumni network toward a strong and sustainable future.

📣 Advances Toward an Innovation-Driven University, Joining National Leaders to Shape Thailand’s Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer Strategies at AITP 2026

⭐️ On May 14, 2026, Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University, led by Asst. Prof. Arnut Jaisamrarn, Ph.D., Vice President for University Council, Special and International Affairs, participated in the 2026 Annual General Meeting of the Association of Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer Professionals at Asia Hotel Ratchathewi, Bangkok.

⭐️ The university joined the event as a member of the association’s committee, together with personnel from the University Business Incubation and Intellectual Property Center, to help drive intellectual property and innovation management policies toward international standards. The event was honored by the presence of Prof. Yodchanan Wongsawat, Ph.D., Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), who presided over the opening ceremony and delivered a special lecture on “Guidelines for Driving Research and Innovation to Become a New Engine for the Thai Economy.”

⭐️ The lecture emphasized the integration of intellectual property management as a strategic mechanism for transforming intellectual property from merely protecting rights into a key driver for creating high-value innovation, generating institutional income, strengthening the national economy, and promoting the utilization of quality research outcomes. Particular emphasis was placed on the development of Technology Transfer Officers (TLOs) through professional competency standards, certification systems, and sustainable career pathways, recognizing their important role in strengthening Thailand’s innovation ecosystem.

⭐️ The meeting also provided an opportunity for participants to exchange knowledge and experiences in intellectual property management and technology transfer with experts and representatives from universities, government agencies, and the private sector. The discussions focused on sharing best practices and strengthening national collaboration networks in innovation and intellectual property management. Participation in this event reflects Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University’s commitment to advancing research, innovation, and technology transfer capabilities in support of sustainable economic and social development.
