At the Mango House Preschool, we believe that learning should always be fun and engaging. In this clip, our children are singing to the song Bingo, as they learn to recognise and spell their numbers.

Here, our 4 year olds are focusing on the number two, but they are working their way through numbers one to ten, building both spelling and number recognition skills along the way.

At the Mango House, we make learning fun and enjoyable every day.

Our PreK-2 students are using simple manipulatives to recognise numbers, match numbers to quantities and practice counting.

Activities like these strengthen number recognition, counting skills, hand eye coordination, focus and problem solving abilities.

Matching numbers to quantities also helps children build a strong early foundation in math while making learning fun, engaging and meaningful.

Our PreK-2 students are learning to write their names. Learning to write their names is an important milestone for preschoolers. It helps build fine motor skills, handwriting skills, letter recognition and confidence.

As our children practice forming letters correctly, they develop better pencil control, focus and coordination, all of which are important foundations for reading and writing.

We are so proud of their progress and effort.

Standard Three participated in a Homophone Pair Matching Activity. The children learned that homophones are words that sound the same but have different meanings and, in many cases, different spellings.

Students were divided into two groups and worked together to correctly match the homophone pairs with their meanings. The activity helped to strengthen their understanding of homophones while encouraging teamwork, communication and confidence among their peers.

Our Standard One students enjoyed drawing flowers as a reminder that kindness can grow in simple everyday ways.

Through this activity, the children spoke about helping others, using kind words, sharing and being a good friend.

Just like flowers grow when they are cared for, kindness grows when we show love, patience, and respect to the people around us. We are proud of our students for learning that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference.

Our preschoolers began their lesson plan on gardening. Gardening teaches children patience, responsibility and the importance of caring for living things.

It also helps them learn where food comes from, encourages healthy habits and gives them a way to explore nature and science.

Today our Infants two class did a storytelling session and they enjoyed every moment of it.

Storytelling is such an important part of early childhood learning as it helps to build language, listening skills, imagination, confidence, memory and creativity.

Reading and storytelling also help children develop a love for books from a very young age. It encourages them to think, ask questions, express themselves and use their imagination in meaningful ways.
