MoonWater Arts is excited and honored to present “Star” J46 in the gallery this June. Meet artist Sarah Plane who created 1 or 75 Killer Whale Dorsal Fins as part of the Orca Behavior Institute‘s exhibition. This exhibition consists of 75 life size fins representing one of the each remaining Southern Resident Killer Whales. The fins will be displayed throughout the region and beyond to raise awareness, inspire action, and translate their research into powerful visual storytelling.

Come meet Sarah during the First Friday Artwalk on June 5th from 6-8PM.

****Update**** These two spots have been filled!!!

There are now just 2 spots open for the “Fused Glass Orca Experience” tomorrow. I’ll be reaching out to the first two people on the list and then work my way down if they do not accept.

All ready to ship the most recent “Fused Glass Orca Experience” packages to the American Cruise Lines pax who came to create their own art featuring the orca.

If you’d like to create your own, gather a group of 4-8, have a couple of dates in mind, then call or stop by to schedule. The cost is $110pp and does not include a stand.

Many people have added their names to the list for the possibility of filling 4 spaces for next Sunday’s “Fused Glass Orca Experience”. As was stated, I will not know until Saturday early evening if these spots are still open.
Some have asked why I can’t create a class that is open for anyone to sign up for. . Here’s the answer. I am only doing private group classes. The openings that are possibly available is because of planned cruise line guests who come to the studio for an “excursion”. At this time, there are 4 out of 8 slots spoken for.
If you would like to plan a group class, reach out to each other and organize a private group class and then contact us to schedule. It’s always a good idea to have a couple of dates that work for everyone.

American Cruise Lines guests have come into MoonWater Arts as a chosen excursion to create a fused glass piece as a beautiful reminder of their time here in the Pacific Northwest. We are so fortunate to live here.
