It is with regret that we announce the absence of Brazos Volunteers from all events this spring. Due to various commitments such as work, life, and college, several members, including our commander, are unable to participate.

However, a few individual members may still attend a couple of events, and we fully support and encourage them to do so!

Unfortunately, our cannons cannot attend due to a shortage of crew members and black powder.

We look forward to rejoining the events in the fall of this year and anticipate being back in full swing by 2025!

Wishing everyone in our reenactor family safe and enjoyable events. We'll see you all soon!

Remember, keep your powder dry!

We had an amazing time at George Ranch Historical Park Frontier Days event this past weekend! Our crew had a blast talking to the public and school kids, and we loved doing artillery demonstrations on the field.

We welcomed two new recruits this year, and of course, they got the cannon snot initiation – a true tradition!

A surprising twist during the last battle – machine gun fire and German soldiers joining the enemy! We got our fair share of artillery fire too, but it was all in good fun!

Thanks to our reenactor family for making this event a success. Can't wait to see y'all at the next one!

Finally the Brazos Volunteers returned to Goliad massacre reenactment! We had an amazing time this past weekend spending time with reenactor family, catching up with old friends and remembering those that we have lost in the past couple years. First year back since Tony passed away, it was hard for a lot of us but we honored him with a great show and a couple double loads on the battle field!

Please enjoy these pictures from the event, if you haven’t gotten the privilege to see this event take place you definitely need to put it on your calendar for next year!

If you are interested in keeping history alive by performing living history re-enactments message me!

Stay over and immerse yourself in the turbulent times surrounding Fannin and his men with the candlelight tours Saturday evening.
