Support the planning, management, and post-event assessment of the activities that fall under the Chinese Object Study Workshop. The Project Manager will also conduct strategic research activities for UMMA’s Chinese art collection and its Asian art collection.

After an extensive renovation of historic Alumni Memorial Hall, UMMA is welcoming the community back with new exhibitions, events, artmaking, tours, and more—all free and open to the public.

Starting THIS WEEKEND, hop aboard the new UMMA Art Shuttle, created in partnership with Ann Arbor’s Boober Tours, for a free ride between downtown Ann Arbor and UMMA. ✨

Behind the scenes 👀

Catch a glimpse of artist Holly Bass’s largest exhibition to date, “We Hold These Truths,” opening this Saturday, October 3, at UMMA. Anchored in the centennial and semi-centennial years of the past and present, the exhibition explores how national ideals are staged in public, preserved in private, and passed down through generations.
