A big shout-out to Southwest Auto for the fabulous sweet treats you brought. We had a board meeting today so we enjoyed combining business with tasty cookies and cupcakes.

Cabin fever? Kids need to do something educational? Step back into history to see items from years ago, to let you be relieved you live in 2026.
The Clark County Arkansas Museum (at the train station) will be open Saturday from 1 to 5.

I'm sure no one is surprised we have been closed this week. And with the city offices and school closed on Friday, we will also be closed.
However, Saturday we plan to be open. I will post Saturday hours tomorrow. Be careful out there.

Veteran's Day 2025. As some of you know, the Museum had planned our Clark County in War exhibit to open this time last year. But putting on a war takes time. We opened in January with the exhibit.
Since that time, people who have come to the Museum have been impressed with the exhibits.
So, please plan to visit the Clark County, Arkansas Museum this month. We are open Wednesday through Saturdays at 1 pm. 🦃 break is coming up so what a perfect time to visit us.
Also the Whose Year Is it? Is still up so yet another reason that come by.

Did you miss the Whose Year is It? Great news.
Risa Sanders-Weir left all the panels and photos and the mini float. The Museum will reopen Wednesday at 1 pm and you can still come and view the exhibit.
Risa is headed back home, but we were thrilled to be a part of her exhibit.
Please come by Wednesday through Saturday to see the exhibit if you missed it. Neither Risa, nor cookies, will be available but the rest of the exhibit is still here!
Thanks to all of you who attended and were in any way a part of this project.

And more photos.

I left the museum a short time ago, and the exhibit looks great and ready to be viewed tomorrow. We open at 10. And I helped do something I haven't done in 50 years...helped build a float!
Seriously, folks. Come join us tomorrow for a step back in history!
We have a mini float, pictures, timelines, letter jackets, corsages and more.
