What a season it’s been. ✨

From unforgettable conversations and inspiring artists to moments of laughter, reflection, vulnerability, and connection, this season of ADAMA Arts Salon has reminded us why creating space for dialogue and community matters so deeply.

Each gathering brought together artists, curators, filmmakers, scholars, storytellers, and cultural thinkers from across the African Diaspora and every single conversation left us fuller than before.

As we prepare for our final ADAMA Arts Salon of the season this Sunday, we’re reflecting on all the beautiful moments that brought us here and we can’t wait to close out the season together one last time. 🖤

Join us Sunday, May 31 at 2PM for a special conversation featuring Alex Delotch Davis in conversation with Patrick Eugène.

What a way to open. ⚽️🌍✨

This weekend, our community stepped inside The African Game and experienced far more than an exhibition. From the energy in the room to the stories unfolding across every wall, the night became an immersive celebration of culture, movement, memory, and connection.

Through the lens of Andrew Dosunmu, football became a universal language — one that carried us across the African continent and reminded us how deeply art can connect people across borders, generations, and lived experiences.

And honestly… this is just the beginning.

Over the next few months, The African Game will continue to grow into a living experience for Atlanta — with conversations, gatherings, storytelling, and moments that bring our community together in powerful new ways ahead of the World Cup.

Thank you to everyone who came out, showed love, shared space, and helped us kick off this monumental moment for ADAMA. We can’t wait for what’s next.

The game is officially on. 🇳🇬🇬🇭🇸🇳🇨🇲⚽️

Football is memory. Identity. Ritual. Community. Home.

The African Game is a new exhibition by acclaimed photographer and filmmaker Andrew Dosunmu — a love letter to football culture across the African continent. Pride. Joy. Beauty. Connection. All of it, caught in a single frame.

As Atlanta prepares to welcome the world for the World Cup, this moment feels intentional. Because the love of the game has always lived here — deep in the bones of the African diaspora.

This Friday, we open our doors.

Come for the images. Stay for the stories. Leave with something that feels like home.

What happens when two visionary artists and storytellers sit down to unpack identity, spirituality, resistance, and the power of Black image-making? Our last ADAMA Arts Salon with Fahamu Pecou and Alexis Peskine gave us exactly that.

The conversation was powerful, layered, and deeply necessary. From exploring African spirituality as a source of transformation to discussing the ways Black bodies, histories, and narratives are preserved through art, the afternoon reminded us why spaces like ADAMA matter so deeply.

These are the conversations that stay with you long after the room empties.

And we’re excited to continue that energy this Sunday at 2 PM for the next iteration of the ADAMA Arts Salon in partnership with Seen Magazine. Join us for another dynamic conversation bringing together culture, storytelling, and the voices shaping our communities today.

A little behind-the-scenes magic before today’s performance ✨

The sounds of Rhapsody in Ebony are filling the gallery as the musicians rehearse for this afternoon’s special closing day performance in conjunction with W.E.B. Du Bois Revisited: Re-Imagining Du Bois’ Work from “The Exhibit of American Negroes.”

Join us at 2 PM as music, history, and storytelling come together for one final afternoon inside the exhibition.
