Due to the Corvid-19, SC Wild’s Heritage Center will not being reopening in McCormick SC for now. I don’t know if things will ever return to “business as usual”. So, with concern for our community and the “at-risk populations” I serve, I am moving to an on-line, digital format to serve you and a larger audience better.
Plantation Quilts & the UGRR Secret Quilt Code Quilts & artifact collections are now on-line & photographed and digitized. We wanted you to be able to visit from the convenience of your home. I wanted to be available to people around the world.
We were hands-on experiential museum, Science Center, Archive & Research Center. I was the only place a Master teacher could come for a hands-on fact seeking trip. I allowed the teachers and students to touch and turn over my quilts and textiles from the 1800’s and 1900 to see how they were made and what materials, dyes and threads were used in creation of these textiles.
My American Revolutionary, Civil War documents, African & African cultural history are currently featured in online display June 8th - Dec 31st. Historians, quilters, church groups, tour bus groups, home school field trips, family reunions and University Staff/Students have visited and participated in our classes and tours. T
We are offering $200.00 Founding Memberships that will give you access to my classes, videos, guided tours & more in this format I will offer daily, weekly and monthly gallery activities. There will be other levels available & I will tell you more about it soon.
