Folks ~ we need more entries for our Christmas in July event at the Atlanta Public Museum.

It's easy . . . Make a gingerbread structure no bigger than 24" x 24" x 24" that represents something you would find along Route 66 - from Chicago to Santa Monica, CA....

It's FREE to enter and we are awarding prize $$$.

The entry date has been extended - just send us an email that you are participating and we'll assign you an entry number.

Entries must be dropped off June 13th and 14th at the Atlanta Public Museum

~ Doors open at 6 PM

~ BINGO starts at 6:30 PM

~ IL State rules apply, so 18-years and older only.

~ $25 lets you play 6 cards all night

Does anyone know what Thursday, May 21st is???

If you said the THIRD THURSDAY OF THE MONTH, you'd be right!!

And that means . . . it's BINGO TIME!!!

Doors Open at 6 PM, Bingo-ing begins at 6:30 PM

Per the State of IL, only folks 18 and older can play

$25 entry fee plays up to 6 cards all night.

In honor of Spring, we've planted some flowers with money as the stems ~ you win a Bingo, you pick a flower from the vase ~ luck of the draw determines how much money you win.

With Graduations finishing up, it's time to think about the future. Or maybe you've been thinking about making a change? Or you've always wanted to __________ ?

Well, the Atlanta Public Museum is partnering with Heartland Community College to hold an Open House for an Application Night ~ June 10, 2026 ~ 5 PM - 7 PM.

* You can explore academic opportunities

* Talk with someone about an admissions application

* Not sure you can afford college -- learn about Financial Aid

There are many new and exciting career paths to explore!

Stop by during the Open House and see what Heartland Community College has to offer you.

We have a few plants left - if anyone would like them for your civic group/flower beds, please stop by and pick them up.

We will ask what group, but they are free for our local groups to use.
