๐ŸŽฃ Family Fishing is back!

Charlie is teaching another family fun day! If you werenโ€™t able to make the first one, or if you want another go at catching some aquatic friends, nowโ€™s your chance!

๐Ÿ  Learn rules, gear setup, safe casting, knot tying, fish handling, and how to find and catch fish. All equipment is provided, including rods and tackle.

โœจ The Youth Museum is officially a part of Hungerford Nature Center, and we are rebuilding it to be mobile! Educating the youth is our mission. That means we will be more accessible to communities, offering Interactive exhibits,
live animal programs, hands on STEM Activities and more! From individual on location programs to multi day pop up events, the mobile museum is bringing stem & nature to the communityโ€ฆALL MOBILE! ๐ŸšŒ

We took our time designing this logo because we wanted it to represent what we stand for.

โœ… We engage our community by sparking curiosity, nurturing, understanding, and encouraging stewardship of our natural world. This logo encompasses everything we stand for: Nature, animals, families, children and our love for the environment around us, and our community!

๐Ÿ’š We are making some huge changes this year and we are so grateful for everyone who has remained with us throughout our journey. We have plenty of surprises and updates in store so stay tuned!

๐ŸžWe have two incredible outdoor spring programs coming up for our kiddos ages 3-6 and 6-12! Happening every Thursday May 21-June 11.

๐Ÿ› Bug Bonanza for 3-6 year olds! Creepy, crawly, and completely captivating! Investigate insects and other small creatures through magnifiers, nets, and outdoor exploration. Participants discover how insects interact with the world around them, building curiosity and STEM skills in a fun, hands-on way.

๐Ÿข Pond Life Explorers for 6-12 year olds! Dive into aquatic ecosystems using nets, magnifiers, and observation techniques to study the plants and animals that live in ponds and streams. Hands-on exploration encourages careful observation, data collection, and a deeper understanding of freshwater habitats.
