Boston’s newest attraction is officially open at Franklin Park Zoo - Penguin Coast! 🐧
Part of the newly-opened African Experience at Zoo New England, Penguin Coast is home to a colony of critically endangered African penguins - and boy are they cute!!
The new outdoor habitat features below-water viewing of the penguins, so you can watch as they dive and glide gracefully underneath the water’s surface. There is even a replica rescue boat that kids can climb aboard to learn about penguin conservation and how to help protect this incredible species. ⛴️
The penguins are so adorable and playful, and I loved watching them swim and waddle around their new habitat.
Entrance to the Penguin Coast is included with general Zoo admission. This weekend and next will offer special “Penguin Days” with penguin-themed crafts, giveaways and treats, along with special photo ops.
