I've had some personal life circumstances come up in recent weeks that have forced me to give up my spot at this weekend's Stacks and Crafts spot in Bluffton. 😞
There is an amazing list of vendors so please still plan to stop out and get some fun shopping in! 😍 This Saturday, May 16th from 9-3 at the Bluffton Middle School!

A time comparison on growth and not giving up. It's easy to think there's no change when you are working on learning something, especially when the process is slow. But then good ol' Facebook pops up with memories and you see the difference. I still love the first painting. I remember being so excited making this one and taking orders for this style of painting. I still will if anyone wants this type of creation! But today, 3 years after the first painting, I challenged myself to use new skills I have acquired and re-imagine this in a more advanced direction. At first I wasn't sure this was what I was after, but after letting it hang on the fridge for a little bit I see it is what I wanted. 😊

OK, last post on this painting (for now). 😁 It is completed and framed! While it was originally going to be part of my Spring collection in a craft show I don't know if I can part with it! Maybe some prints will be coming from this one. I don't typically paint larger paintings but that may change, too! 😍

The worst part about painting (to me) is there is ALWAYS a phase where it looks like the painting is going to end up a disaster and should I continue or scrap it? I usually push through but there is always a debate!
