Hey everyone and sorry for not posting much these last couple of weeks. But the good news is things have been busy. Have sold a couple of origionals as well as prints as well as a couple of stained glass mosaics. Have some shows coming up, so been busy getting ready for those and doing a commission now on an old black mule and hope it comes out well. And of course spending time with grandkids. Will post more next week and as always I sure appreciate you folllowing my art💕

The iconic symbol of the American West - The Cowboy Horse, often associated with the Mustang and The American Quarter Horse.
I have had some many great Quarter Horses over the years and there is no other bond like it and why I love to paint them as well as mustangs. These are all oils on canvas.

Bison are known to run into and face storms head-on rather than running away from them like cattle. By facing into a storm or blizzard, they move through the storm faster, minimizing their total time spent in the harsh weather. Origional is 16x20 oil on canvas and also available in different size prints.

So, I wanted to show some of the process on this mosaic. The first pic I cut the stained glass and had the colored pattern done. Then I cut clear glass for the background. Then I began to grout it all and I use the tan grout called Haystack as I use in all the mosaics. I use a pallet knife to apply carefully, then water and sponge to wipe off several times. Then let dry for 24 hours and it is ready for a special window in your home. I call this one Forever Flowers, even in the winter , you can always have flowers. I usually work on the mosaics in the morning and stay grubby, hence the pic of me, lol!
