We asked our employees to pick five of their favorite pieces in the gallery. And while five seems like a lot, it is no easy task.
Nicky, one of our managers has been here 29 years. Her favorite thing about Artifacts is seeing people come into the gallery and enjoy themselves. Whether it’s discovering art for the first time or the return customers that visit us year after year. Through the years regulars have become friends, and that is a part of Artifacts that Nicky loves.
She chose these pieces because it reminded her of why she lives here on the California coast. As a lifelong Disney fan, “Battle For Neverland,” featuring Peter Pan and Captain Hook spoke to her. Houston Llew’s spiritiles are a popular collectors item. Nicky felt the quote attached to “Repose;” “As you learn to fly, may you also learn to rest,” held a meaningful message. Other pieces amongst her top five were “Morning Spring Vines” by Susan Hohen, “Break in the Storm” by Erik Abel, and “Keepers of the Coast” by Tim Huhn.
We invite you to visit our website and check out the other phenomenal artists we have. If you have questions, or want to learn more about artists not listed online give us a call and we would be happy to help.
