Lovely evening for the annual ERA Meeting! Thanks to our sponsor Dickens Mitchener and guest speakers from The Manor Redevelopment & Council Member Owens

24/04/2026

We are pleased to invite ERA members to the 2026 Annual Meeting.

Date: Sunday, April 26, 2026
Time: 5:00 PM
Location: Mint Museum Randolph, 2730 Randolph Road, Charlotte, NC (Van Every Auditorium)

We are delighted to welcome the following speakers and guests:

The Manor Development Team will present plans for the redevelopment of the former Manor Theatre site on Providence Road. The proposed mixed-use project includes approximately 120–130 residential units and 35,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space, designed to honor the legacy of the historic theater.
Kimberly Owens, our newly elected District 6 City Council Representative, will share her priorities and introduce herself to the community.
Our Off-Duty Patrol Coordinators will provide an update on neighborhood patrols and safety (if time allows).
Please Note: Attendance is for ERA members only.

This meeting offers a valuable opportunity to hear directly from those shaping the future of our neighborhood — from redevelopment and city council priorities to ongoing safety efforts.

See you there!
Steve Taylor

This week neighbors have reported two young men soliciting magazine sales door-to-door for the Ronald McDonald House. Please know that the Ronald McDonald House explicitly prohibits door-to-door solicitations. They are very effective and convincing, but do not scan their QR code as it is phishing and your personal information may be compromised.
