A big shout-out to all the wonderful people who worked at Maddi's over the years! Hats off to the artists who poured their creativity and energy into the beautiful items that graced our gallery! And cheers to all Maddi's customers who supported us and became our friends. We are going to leave this page up for a while and use it to let you know what we're up to next. Hang on for a new chapter - after all, retirement isn't just about rocking chairs!

We end the year with the bittersweet announcement that Maddi's is closing. "Our" building has been sold and the new owners want "our" space. The thought of moving was fleeting, the lure of retiring and having time to travel, create, and enjoy our family and grandkids, much stronger.

Our "Retirement Sale" begin Saturday, Dec. 29 at 10 am. Everything will be at least 30% off. We plan to close Jan. 19 and interim markdowns will be taken.

To all the folks who made Maddi's such a success and so much fun, thank you. It has been our pleasure being in such a wonderful community. Cheers to everyone, Diane
