A Bug Drag Show & Pop-Up Market Fundraiser at The Insect Asylum

Celebrate Earth Day + our 4-year anniversary with us on April 25, 6–10 PM! Join us for a chaotic, glittery, bug-themed drag show and pop-up market supporting our animal sanctuary and wildlife rehabilitation programming.

Donation-based tickets start at $40 (includes a drink + .repurposed goodie bag

International Beaver Day is coming up 👀

Monday, April 6th 5-8 pm
Hear from local beaver experts and the Illinois Beaver Alliance .beaver.alliance , watch the new documentary Freelance Beaver Detective: Tracking Urban Wildlife, and learn how beavers are shaping Chicago’s urban waterways 🦫🪵🌊

Enjoy hands-on exhibits, explore beaver skulls and tracks, and compete in our dam-building challenge!

Suggested donation: $25 or pay what you can at the door. Every dollar raised helps The Insect Asylum rescue animals in need. With baby season approaching, we are fundraising for veterinary care, specialty formulas, and other essentials required for our wildlife rehabilitation work. Our goal this year is 10,000! We are so excited to celebrate four years of community, curiosity, and critters with you!

Come for a dam good time and celebrate nature’s original hydraulic engineers at BEAVER DREAM 2!
