Kids Science Labs

Kids Science Labs And why is it that in the U.S. we don't actively teach kids how to design, create, build, and fully explore the science that they are curious about.

Innovative Science Classes for Kids I🥇 #1 Summer Camps | 🎉 Kids Birthday Party I 🚌 Field Trips | 🧪 Best STEM Program for Kids I💡 Unlocking kids’ curiosity & creativity
with multiple locations in Chicago and Seattle It all started in Chicago in 2010 when two dads, friends, and avid problem solvers, Shegan Campbell and Keith Norsym, decided that instead of trying to find a great idea, they wanted to

identify a problem that they were passionate about, and fix it. One Saturday afternoon at Panera Bread a few years ago, they asked...

"Why is it that all kids love science until about the 5th grade and then for the rest of their school years treat science as if it were boring, too difficult, or just not cool. Kids love science, so why do so few have an opportunity to explore it. Isn't science fun, mysterious, and engaging...?"

This made no sense to us. It's not just about biology, chemistry, or physics, because kids don't develop those specific interests until most often in high school or college. It's not about equations unless there is context for understanding why the equation is relevant. It's about exploring the fundamental questions that they ask parents everyday.

There’s nothing better than hearing what excited our students most after class 😊

From experiments they couldn’t stop talking about to new things they discovered about the world around them, these moments are exactly why we love what we do.

Turns out, curiosity comes in a lot of different forms. 🧪

Nothing says “best field trip ever” like watching a bottle of Coke explode 👀💥

At Kids Science Labs, students get to experience science in real time through unforgettable experiments like this.

Safe to say this was the highlight of the day!

Did you know dry ice is an icy -109.3°F? ❄️👀

That’s cold enough to freeze carbon dioxide into a solid form, which is exactly what dry ice is. And unlike regular ice, it doesn’t melt into water. Instead, it changes directly from a solid into a gas, creating that smoky fog effect.

Today at Kids Science Labs, students explored the science behind dry ice through hands-on experiments and learned more about temperature, states of matter, and chemical reactions.

Why don't our students believe that Mr. Shegan is 6 years old? 🤔 😂

Today at KSL, students learned about LED lights… and we may or may not have made our own lightsabers too 🤭

You've officially (virtually) entered Kids Science Labs 😎 🧪

Before every class, our founder and teacher, Shegan, likes to share the history behind KSL with our students.

What started as a small solution for his daughter turned into a place where kids can explore, experiment, and have fun with science every day!
