Hola Colores By Erika Doyle

Hola Colores By Erika Doyle Welcome to Hola Colores! A shop where you will find art work by Erika Doyle. http://www.etsy.com/shop/HolaColores

In a mix of bright colors and different techniques, Erika Doyle's artwork is inspired by pre-Columbian cultures, some samples of primitive art from other nations which are combined with elements of Indian, Japanese, Mayan, Argentine tango and other cultural heritages. Being exposed to the multicultural coexistence in Chicago, Doyle's greatest influence has been that in the 14 years she has lived i

n Chicago, she has met people from many countries. She states that "the mere fact of living in this city makes you a cosmopolitan, open to learn and appreciate other cultures." Erika has been painting since the age of fifteen, but then other events put this activity on hold for a while. She emigrated from her native country, Argentina in 2000, settling with her family in Chicago. The young artist, who is also a writer in her free time, leads and conducts literature workshops in Spanish for Café y Literatura entre Nosotros, a literary-artistic society based in the city of Chicago. The mission of this project is to develop and establish a literary and bohemian society that allows us to connect to our Latin America culture through writing workshops. Besides this, she holds a BA in Political Science and a Master's in Public Policy and Administration from Northwestern University. Doyle intends to continue experimenting in painting by combining techniques and discovering more things that amuse her creative mood. The following is a list of the most recent art exhibitions by Doyle:

Okay or not?

A conceptual artwork by Maurizio Cattelan, “Comedian,” is just a fruit-stand banana taped on the wall. But 7 bidders were biting. It went to a crypto entrepreneur.
