While attending a Reds’ game I stopped by the Reds’ Hall of Fame and Museum and found my children’s book, “Anastasia Meets Jackie Robinson.”

Mrs. Queen from Portsmouth Elementary School recently read my book, “Anastasia Meets Jackie Robinson,”with her current students. The students were so kind and sent me thank you notes regarding the book. Last year Bonnie Sanfillipo and I visited Mrs. Queen and her students to introduce them to “Anastasia Meets Jackie Robinson.” The students asked great questions and were very polite. The school is amazing and so organized and welcoming. Mrs. Queen and the entire staff were a delight. Thank you, Portsmouth Elementary School, Portsmouth, Ohio.

In the third book of my children’s series, Anastasia and Amal Visit Lady Liberty, the girls travel to New York and meet the fabulous Lady Liberty. She introduces herself to them and tells them her history and about immigration. She shows Anastasia and Amal the Irish coming to Ellis Island. To their surprise, two Irish dancers appear in the night sky. Amal loves Irish dancing!
