Veneration: Travels of the Mind

Meet the Artist Reception: August 3, 12:00 PM
The Lovers Lane Foundation and its Visual Arts Committee are excited to present the artwork of Hugh DeWitte. His “Veneration: Travels of Mind” collection is an abstract exploration of mankind’s search for meaning. From “Searching for Solomon’s Palace” to the industrial relics of “Sacred Heart of Jesus,” each piece tells a story. Scriptures and symbols weave through the works, asking us to reflect on wisdom, humility, and the tensions of our contemporary world. Over 50 pieces of art are on display. The exhibit is available for viewing from July 10 through September 17.
Join us on Sunday, August 3, from Noon to 1:30 PM for a Meet the Artist Reception, complete with music, food, and refreshments.
