✨”Jasmine Nights” a new mini collection coming to the Baby Jess Universe in May 💫 Inspired by our trip to Tuscany back in 2024. The towns we wondered were filled with Jasmine in bloom and you could smell it everywhere 😌 I wanted to create a collection that reflected the ethereal magic of that experience with surreal and romantic paintings 💫

✨Collection will drop in 2 parts, more to come later in the month and this first drop will be at this weekend in Denver on Old South Ga***rd ✨10am-4pm Sat and Sun.

✨”The Worm Moon” 🪱🌕 inspired by the old names for the full moons, the March moon is named for the thawing ground and return of the earthworms!

✨Reimagined in the Baby Jess Universe the happy worms are dancing the night away under a magical teal moon 🪱🤓✨

✨Prints are in 6x6” and 4x4”

🌕 More moons are coming throughout the year, until all 12 are complete ✨💫

❄️Arctic Realms is an icy collection inspired by my trip to Iceland, northern skies, arctic foxes, and hauntingly beautiful landscapes.

❄️Iceland is one of those places that stuck with me and still does, I think about it all the time. There is something so raw about the beauty there and discovering magical waterfalls hidden within almost barren lands was sooo cool. It haunts me but in a good way.

❄️ I even got to see an Arctic Fox run across on the road on our last day there. Something I hoped for but definitely didn’t think was going to happen!

❄️I took all that trip left me with to create a new corner of the Baby Jess Universe, some inspired by real places and others imagined. All capturing that haunting beauty and quiet wonder. Originals and prints available ❄️

✨Snowy Owls of the Baby Jess Universe 🦉💫 people always ask me why I paint owls, but never really ask why I paint the other creatures I do. I find that interesting 🤔
Honestly there isn’t a specific reason why I paint them, other than I freaking love em!

✨Owls embody so many qualities at the same time: they are goof balls but also super majestic, they are adorable but also kind of creepy, they are incredible and at times frightening hunters but also lovable and gentle creatures 😌 it’s hard not to be obsessed with these incredible birds!
