Gifting a painting is one of the more serious things you can do.
A painting isn't consumed. It doesn't expire. It lives in a house for decades — on a wall someone walks past every morning — and it carries the memory of the person who chose it.
This is why we occasionally get inquiries from collectors sourcing pieces for anniversaries, retirements, legacy gifts. It's the one category where the thing you give becomes part of the recipient's life in a way almost nothing else does.
