Saturday, April 25 is the first event of the Eagles Mere Museum's "How Did We Get Here" programs in celebration of our country's 250th Anniversary. Saturday's event begins with Amelia Earhart's appearance at Stoneybatter Barn, 368 Laporte Ave, Eagles Mere followed by a tour of the Eagles Mere Air Museum. (Sorry, the Auto and Motorcycle Musuems are not open on this date and there is no food available. ) Please go directly to 368 Laporte Ave, Eagles Mere to enjoy "Our Story from the Air" beginning at noon, Saturday, April 25. The Eagles Mere Museum and Shop are open today and tomorrow, February 14 and 15, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Learn a bit about the history of Eagles Mere and shop our selection of sweatshirts, t-shirts, hats, and souvenir mugs, ornaments, magnets and coasters. VICTORIAN CARD WORKSHOP

Join Joan Werner for a workshop at the Eagles Mere Museum. Make your own replica of a Victorian Puzzle card or design a different small card of your own. The workshop is for all ages and supplies will be provided. Donations are always welcome.

The Eagles Mere Tobaggon Slide is OPEN this weekend and so is the Eagles Mere Museum! Located in the old general store just steps away from the slide hill, our shop has sweatshirts, long sleeve t-shirts and EM knit hats in stock! We also feature youth and infant shirts, souvenir mugs, shot glasses and post cards. Open 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Stop in and see what we have in store and on display in our historical museum gallery!

Hear the story of Santa’s origins, visit the holiday Santa exhibit and train display in the main gallery, craft a train ornament to hang on your tree and have fun with some Eagles Mere winter-related activities.
