Tuesday Mornings

Tuesday Mornings Take a break from the everyday and socialize with people who understand your passion. This group is for artists of all media and skill levels.

We are artist driven and will begin each week with a question to discuss. This question is posted on Facebook during the week prior to the meeting so each of us will have the time to formulate our thoughts and come ready to discuss. Following the discussion, we will share together any interesting news of upcoming events, shows, classes, supply sales, or any other information that is relevant. The rest of the time together we socialize, share idea, collaborate, and inspire.

Good morning artists! I am heading home to Tennessee tomorrow. I have a lot of work to catch up on to get ready for the Fall Festival in Elizabethton, TN this October. I hope you are getting your registration in before prices go up. I'm looking forward to getting together July 30th.

I'm hoping everyone is surviving this extra heat we've been having.

I just wanted to check in to let everyone know there will be no Tuesday Mornings for artists on July 16th and 23rd. We will start back on July 30th.

Also, just a reminder to get your application in for the Elizabethton Art and Cultural Alliance 1st Fall Festival. The earlier you get in your application, the less expensive the price. Elizalliance.org

Downtown Elizabethton has kicked off some wonderful opportunities for artists. Stop by August Muse on Tuesday Mornings after 10:00 to meet with other artists and catch up on what is going on.

I hope all of you artist's are getting a revitalization from this wonderful weather.

It's been quiet here on Tuesday Mornings, but its a great time to come out and visit with other artists at August Muse. They have begun serving local teas and scones and I will always make coffee.

We will not have Tuesday Morning on April 2nd, but stop by any other Tuesday Morning after 10.

Welcome to February! Our Tuesday Morning meetings will stop during the rest of February and will begin again in March. I will send out a post when I know for sure the date.

In the meantime, stop by August Muse after 11:00 on Tuesday to try out the new tea lounge. There are local teas and locally roasted coffee along with locally made scones.

The rush is upon all us artists for the holidays. Come out Tuesday, October 24th 10:00 to 11:30 to August Muse to meet other artists. There will probably be a little impromptu Christmas tree ornament painting party. We would love to see you.
