The Unicoi County Heritage Museum is opening its doors for its 41st annual season on Saturday, June 10th and you are invited to join in the ribbon cutting festivities.

Step back in time and immerse yourself in the rich history and culture of Unicoi County. Explore fascinating exhibits and displays that bring our heritage to life and uncover the stories that shaped our past and inspire our future.

The Unicoi County Heritage Museum, opened to the public on July 3, 1982, is located in a century-old frame house that was constructed in 1903 as the home of the first superintendent of the Erwin Fish Hatchery. The museum collects, conserves and exhibits artifacts directly related to Unicoi County history. Each room of the home is uniquely themed and contains interesting historical exhibits.
