HMF is proud to announce the acquisition of the beautiful and historic vessel “Gyrfalcon”. We are beyond excited and look forward to what this boat will offer us. A profound thanks to Peter Mann and Nancy Everds for the generosity and entrusting us with their beloved vessel.

Gyrfalcon will serve as an education platform, museum ship and will also be available for private charters as a revenue source for the foundation. Stay tuned for exciting updates.

We’re chalking the Olympia wooden boat fair up as a big success! From start to end it was a phenomenal event. From a picture perfect moment under the Tacoma narrows bridge to our epic departure with our dear friends on the “Air Snipe”.

We got to see old friends and make new ones! If you came down and got to see the boats, thank you!! And we hope to see you all back in Olympia for the 2026 Harbor days!
