A special thanks to Kelly Thynes for capturing this moment. Creosote and Virginia V have been sharing the Puget sounds for more than 100 years.

These girls are certainly familiar friends.

We’re chalking the Olympia wooden boat fair up as a big success! From start to end it was a phenomenal event. From a picture perfect moment under the Tacoma narrows bridge to our epic departure with our dear friends on the “Air Snipe”.

We got to see old friends and make new ones! If you came down and got to see the boats, thank you!! And we hope to see you all back in Olympia for the 2026 Harbor days!

Creosote and Pescawa are headed south for Olympia!

“Creosote”s haulout is complete and she is back in her slip.

“Volunteers are the steel rod in which any good organization is moved forward by”

Our 7 day turn around was nothing short of a miracle made possible by our fantastic volunteers and friends of HMF. If you were a part of this project you should feel proud that you left a piece of history better than you found it.

There’s still work to do, and we have a list of things to do in the next coming weeks but we are excited about the upcoming season and you can expect to see “Creosote” on the water quite a bit.

If you are interested in being a part of saving history to share with others, shoot us a message!!
