"Tsegi Spring" - 16X16 - Pastel

Canyon de Chelly in Arizona is on my bucket list of places to paint. Sarah painted this "en plein air" from the Tsegi Overlook. Warm ochres and purples complement the cool spring foliage.

Sarah is the newest artist at Ridge Fine Art. An Evergreen local, her art just makes your heart smile! Among other motifs, Sarah depicts wildlife in a realistic, but humorous way. I think her art would be fantastic in a child's room. Her work is very charming, but not in an overly sentimental way.

Just off the easel today!!! This is an awesome 30X36 cloudscape that I have yet to name. The reference was right outside the gallery location with Bergen Peak bottom left, and a thin slice of Elk Meadow below. The sunbeams were challenging, but I'm happy with it! Come to the Gallery for a look, it's way more impressive in person.
