The Franconia Heritage Museum opens for the season Saturday, May 24, 2025 - that's Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. Our hours are 1:00-4:00 PM. We've got new displays and a refreshed exhibit in the barn; "Stitches in Time", a collection of quilt squares created by local women between 1876-1895. We hope to see you!

The Franconia Heritage Museum is looking for docents and volunteers to help with staffing throughout the 2025 season. We are open Saturdays from 1:00-4:00 PM from Memorial Day weekend to Columbus Day. You don't have to be an expert on local history; we will provide all the training you need! Join us for free hors d'oeuvres at Chef Joe's Bistro next Thursday, November 14th. Space at our Annual Meeting is limited and you must RSVP by November 7th.

This event will start at 5 pm, and will feature a presentation, in conjunction with New Hampshire Humanities, by Jeffrey Zygmont: Robert Frost on the Farm: New Hampshire Farming in 1900 as Told by the Poet.
