The Patawomeck Museum & Cultural Center is hosting a pottery workshop on Saturday, October 31st 🪶

• The Pottery and Nature Journaling class is from 8-12 PM

• What to expect: Students will hand-build nature-inspired pottery mimicking organic textures using such things as leaf imprints, tree bark, pebbles, and blooming flowers. The designs will try to capture one or more of the different outdoor settings. The student-created pottery will be glazed and fired after class.

The Tribal Museum will be open tomorrow from 10 am - 2 pm. This is the last Saturday of the fall season. We will open back up on every other Saturday in the spring!

This shirt represents more than football. It’s a celebration of community, tradition, and the connection between the Stafford High community and our Tribe.

Hello all,

Chief Emeritus John Lightner

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Chief Emeritus John Lightner. Chief Lightner led a life dedicated to public service. From his career in Law Enforcement to leading our Tribe, Chief Lightner was a wonderful servant to his community. Chief Lightner led the Patawomeck Tribe through a time of great growth and achievement. He will be missed but his legacy will live on. Funeral services for Chief Emeritus Lightner are as follows:

Visitation - Wednesday, Sept. 16 at 11am

Services at 12pm - Covenant on Rt. 1

Please keep his family in your prayers, KeNaah. Chief Lightner, thank you for your dedication to your people and your community. Rest easy, until we meet again. 🪶
