I took my daughter to Morning Sun Marketplace today and what a wonderful time we had. We ate yummy and freshly made soft pretzels from the Pretzel Lady. The ladies here were so nice. We knew one of our pretzels had just came out of the oven and they made she to tell me which one so we didn't get burned. I kept the hotter one for myself so Skyla didn't get burnt. We also shared a delicious cup of their orangeade. We grabbed goodies to bring home from CAT in the BOX Bakery. Their peanut butter and chocolate chip cookies are amazing! We also enjoyed their chocolate with pb fudge. I'd also like to point out that they are reasonably priced and very friendly. For lunch we stopped at the Crabby "J" Seafood Market to try some seafood deviled eggs and a lump crab cake. The eggs were delicious and even Skyla, who tends to be picky, loved them. Of course I didn't tell her at first that there was seafood in them. That crab cake however, had to be one of the best crab cakes I've had in the longest time. The lady at the stand was wonderful to talk to. We also got more fudge (peanut butter) but unfortunately I have forgotten which stand it was. We think it was Sweet C’s Creations but it could have been Sharon's Sweet Shop either way it was so soft and tasted amazing. Skyla also got a chocolate motor cycle on a stick and watched the lady behind the counter make buckeyes. Of course our day wasn't complete without stopping at Emingee's Fastnachts, Donuts, Ice Cream and Italian Ice for a Dutch apple crumb donut and a cotton candy Italian ice. That Italian ice was really good and refreshing with the warm weather. The donut was definitely worth it. It is delicious and if you just buy one it comes in such a nice sturdy box. You don't have to stress about it getting crushed in a bag. We had a wonderful time and look forward to the next time we have an adventure there.
