Our annual Herb Luncheon is February 7. Deadline for reservations is February 1st so get your RSVP checks ready soon. THANKS!
The luncheon will be held at the Presbyterian Church in Homer at 309 S Sophia Street, February 7th. Social Hour begins at 9:30 AM, program at 10 AM . Our three speakers will be Charity Krueger returning with part 2 of Art in Nature. Second will be Jason Blossom of Blossom farms, from Concord, enlightening us on operating a generational farm and farm stand, with hayrides and corn maze. Lastly, Mark Smith from the Tekonsha and Homer area will tell us about his son Jason and his partnership in raising and running a Christmas Tree farm.
There will be a silent auction and a raffle for a large basket of gardening items you won’t want to miss.
Our menu will be Appetizer, a charcutrie board with smoked salmon on pumpernickel, a board for each table. Entree, Pork Schnitzel with mushroom sauce, braised red cabbage,Spaetzle and dessert a Black Forest Torte. If you have allergy issues we can address them for the lunch. Cost is &45.00 per person with proceeds to the historical society. You can mail your checks to Homer Historical Society Box 146, Homer, MI. 49245.
