Join us today at 12:20 to observe Lāhainā Noon! Also known as a “zero-shadow day,” Lāhainā Noon is a unique tropical phenomenon where the Sun passes directly overhead at solar noon, causing objects to cast almost no shadow! 🌞
Families are invited to explore this amazing science event with simple hands-on observation activities in our courtyard. It’s a fun way for keiki to learn about the Sun, shadows, and the wonders of our island skies through discovery and play. This even only happens twice a year!
