Vanessa has helped The Biggies Convo Cards go from being in 0 stores to 9 stores in 4 short months!

After finding success in her own business Leela Ryan Dog Biscuits, Vanessa began consulting with product-based retailers like The Biggies, showing them how to stand out in the market place, launch wholesale and scale their business.

Being realistic is an important resilience building factor and one we can model for our kids!

That means accepting reality for what it is and accepting people for who they are.

I recently had my own look-reality-square-in-the-face moment when I tried to discuss Women’s History Month with my kids. Crash and burn let’s just say.

It took some re-scripting of the convo, but I finally landed on a more Jack and Shepherd friendly version of Women’s History.

March is 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧’𝐬 𝐇𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡 and I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to talk to my sons about gender inequality, women’s suffrage, women’s lib, the whole bit.

What. A. Bust.

These boys are excited by Madden NFL, Elon Musk aiming for Mars, wrestling, their “packs” (shorthand for stomach muscles) and p**p. Not Susan B. Anthony and Betty Friedan.
