Today’s is a blast from the past from Scott Hooper; he took this shot in August 1980, during one of his crew days at STM.
This was the first season in which the Visitors' Center was in use, although at the time of this photo, it was still being built. The photo is taken from 'inside' Montreal 2. Ahead of it are M&SC 621, CRANDIC 118 and Montreal 2052. This was not a special event day...the four cars were part of the regular operating fleet in those days. The Visitors' Center was eventually used that year, but it was not at the time of the photo. Passengers still bought their tickets at a booth in a shelter whose white rafters are visible through 2052's windows and boardings were still at Arundel Station. Thanks for sharing Scott!
