A new Reveal Box has joined the lineup! 🍌 ⚾️ My family is going to the Ball game at Disney ESPN Wide World of Sports on May 29. To help amp the excitement, I put together a box to get us show ready!

😮 My 9-year-old son has recently gotten more brave with rides and he’s always loved The Muppets. So when we got the chance to ride during the soft opening of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster on May 25, we jumped in line!
🎸 We waited less than 20 minutes and I wanted a longer line to take in more details and Easter Eggs across The Muppets (even MuppetVision 3D) and Aerosmith!

He was rightfully nervous for his first coaster that goes upside down but did great! Now, he can’t stop talking about it but, I can’t wait to ride again either!

On this Memorial Day, we salute those who served our country and lost their lives across all branches and missions.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios pays homage to World War II on Sunset Boulevard. So before you rush down to the new Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets or Tower or Terror, check out the displays at Rosie’s All-American Cafe and Catalina Eddie’s.

This area is set in the 1940s with many wartime posters and memorabilia. Inside the quick service food spot are a few insignias and on the outside is a piece of a plane with one of the most famous, the “Flying Tiger.” 🐅 Disney artists created a winged Bengal Tiger jumping through a stylized ‘V for Victory’ symbol for the American Volunteer Group in the Chinese Air Force.

Walt Disney Productions actually designed ✏️ 1,200+ unit insignia for all branches of the U.S. armed forces and Allied military units during World War II.

So let’s all take a moment to pause and remember this Memorial Day.

A day made to celebrate curiosity and clues - it’s National Scavenger Hunt Day! 🔍

I truly love the thrill of finding a detail. It could be a piece of the overall story by told in a theme park, land, or area. It might reference back to a bit of movie, tv show, history, or an older attraction/ride.

I do extensive research to turn these details into clues. I’ve called them Story Hunts from the start. I love that I get to share these fun elements with all of you!

👩🏼 Mom’s got it when it comes to ordering something extra for the vacation to make it an adventure!

I dropped off an Epcot Story Hunt for a group of teenagers to enjoy while at Disney World. I have curated all of the clues to this scavenger hunt and include:
✉️ envelopes to open with tasks/puzzles;
🖊️ a special spy pen; and
🏆 small completion prize that requires a combination to open.
🔑 Answer key is provided, sealed in an envelope.

This Dino dig is getting real good! 🦖

In my video from May 17, I shared the “Not Our Dino Parts” reference from Universal’s Islands of Adventure. Well, here is a Part 2.

This one is directly in the Jurassic Park section. The shop, Jurassic Outfitters, may have scrim on the outside but inside, it has some photo ops and new pipes.
♥️ 🤍 💛 Not just any pipes, but a VERY SPECIFIC set of colors with chemical formulas on them. No denying these are inspired by the same pipes than ran the length of the downstairs queue of Dinosaur in Dinoland, USA. When this attraction opened, it was sponsored by McDonald’s so that Easter Egg was a favorite for Disney Fans to point out in Animal Kingdom.

Now we get to point it out at Universal.

👏🏻 Well done Universal Creative 👏🏻 The Future is no longer in the past.

Universal just announced that a beloved character, and purveyor of chocolates in Epic Universe, is getting his own meet & greet!! 🌙
Captain Cacao was introduced to Team Members first at a “Your Park After Dark” event (LOVE that they got the first look) but will be available in the park starting May 22 to help mark 1 Year of Epic Universe!

Fans of Captain Cacao have been asking for this since they first saw his cuddly plush and theming in Celestial Sweets. I was immediately struck with his ship and the crew.
🌌 He pilots the “Marshmallow Airship Joei de Ganache” with explorer Maya of the Skies as they sail the cosmos to find the most delicious sweets in the galaxy.

Share this with someone who needs the maximum amount of Captain Cacao sweetness in their lives!

😠 Does this make you mad? 😲 Or are you impressed at the nod across creative teams?

Several people have been talking about the theming for the new All Hallow’s Eve Emporium towards the front of Islands of Adventure. 🎃 This replaces the All Hallow’s Eve Boutique that was in The Lost Continent.
There was one added piece of spookiness that I just had to see for myself, pronto.

Universal is known to include tributes across its parks to movies and former attractions, at times in a cheeky way. This is not even the first time they have made reference to Disney. I say well done 👏🏻 Keep a piece of Dinoland, USA going 🦖 down the street from Animal Kingdom.

We spent the night at Universal City Walk to celebrate my son’s 9th birthday 🎉
He chose dinner at , milkshake dessert at , a round at Hollywood Drive-In Golf, some merchandise browsing, and, of course, a trip around the globe. 🌎

It was a great night! 🎫 If you have an Annual Pass, don’t forget to ask about discounts along the way!
