site of 7 pioneer buildings including the Baptist Church which house the artifact and relics collections of the society. Some areas your service can be in: Research, Membership, Program, Publicity and Public Relations, Fundraising, Museum, Aztalan Day and Property Maintenance. Membership:
Become a member for $10 (Individual membership). Family Membership $15.00

The Lake Mills-Aztalan Hist. Soc. does not receive any state, local government or federal funding for museum operations. The Lake Mills-Aztalan Hist. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, donations are tax deducible as provided by law. The Lake Mills Aztalan Hist. owns & operates the Lake Mills Aztalan Museum which is next to Aztalan State Park, but the museum is not part of Aztalan State Park.

The Lake Mills Aztalan Historical Society, Inc. would like to thank Club 55 of Lake Mills and Civil War reenactment history tellers, Pelham's Battery for volunteering for our first school day at the museum site at the end of our season. We hosted over 200 students, teachers and chaperones at the museum site from Lake Mills Area School District and St. Paul's where they had the opportunity to try their hand at old-fashioned household chores like hand washing clothes, making butter and hauling water. It was a fantastic day, thanks again everyone!
