During the Send-Off Party we will have our final Art Supply Drive for Dixieland Elementary. One of our goals has always been to connect the local community with fine art, so we are glad to be faithful to that goal even as the curtain closes on Vakti Gallery. We are collecting donations of markers, crayons, glue sticks, construction paper, scissors, etc. See you there!

We are excited to celebrate the gallery and all the fun and joyous times we had building an art community within Central Florida with one more event! Our Send-Off Party will be Vakti Gallery’s finale. Artists, faithful customers, family, and friends are all invited to join us on Friday, January 26th from 5-6pm at Pressed for this event.

During the Send-Off Party we will have our final Art Supply Drive for Dixieland Elementary. One of our goals has always been to connect the local community with fine art, so we are glad to be faithful to that goal even as the curtain closes on Vakti Gallery. We are collecting donations of markers, crayons, glue sticks, construction paper, scissors, etc. Our goal is to collect as many items as there are students at Dixieland Elementary, will you help us reach our goal?

We have had an amazing time running Vakti Gallery over the last three years. We have met so many wonderful artists and have been so inspired by each and every one of you and the works you have created. At the end of our third year, we feel that God is calling us to other steps of faithfulness, and those do not include running Vakti Gallery. Vakti Gallery will close on January 31, 2024, after serving the central Florida art community for three wonderful years.

You are invited 🎉 In two weeks we will be having our Interactive Neighborhood Art Show! At this show we will have activities for all ages, from our annual Creative Kids Competition to a new Collaborative Canvas. We would love to see you at Pressed LKLD on Saturday, June 10 from 1-3 during our event. Art from our local, central Florida artists will be for sale. and support Pressed, our wonderful host, as well as your local artists! See you there 🎉

Today I want to give a shout out to my own Mom, Jen Overholt! ❤️ If you have been to any Vakti Gallery event, you have seen her there! She is an amazing support to my business and my personal life. We love her and couldn't have this gallery without her! (Don't mind her using HALF of a paintbrush to help with this mural 🤣 we love her and her crazy methods, she gets things D O N E!)
