Some pieces deserve a particularly careful hand.

Recently, I was trusted to replace the chain on this treasured custom necklace featuring elk ivory. The original pendant was created by an unknown artist, so my role was to preserve the integrity of their work while making the piece beautifully wearable again.

The customer wanted the new chain to draw greater attention to the diamonds surrounding the ivory. Together, we selected a sterling silver faceted-bar design whose reflective surfaces catch the light and echo their sparkle without competing with the pendant’s intricate metalwork.

Working with another artist’s creation requires restraint, respect, and precise workmanship. The result feels balanced, intentional, and true to the character of the original piece.

October, captured in a single flash of pink.

This rose-cut pink tourmaline rests among weathered stone, forest lichen, and fallen pine needles. Its vivid color feels almost unexpected against the darker textures of the forest.

Tourmaline holds a surprising energy of its own. When heated or placed under pressure, it can develop a slight electrical charge, sometimes strong enough to attract tiny particles of dust.

Its delicate color is paired with unexpected strength. At 7 to 7.5 on the Mohs scale, tourmaline is harder than many realize and well suited to jewelry made for everyday wear.

A remarkable October birthstone, photographed among the quiet details of the natural world.

Long before modern metalsmiths called it green gold, the ancient world prized electrum, a naturally occurring union of gold and silver. It appeared in early Egyptian jewelry and was later used to strike some of the first known coins.

Modern 14k green gold carries an echo of that history. Silver within the solid-gold alloy lends it a subtle olive cast, more restrained than yellow gold and especially beautiful when it catches the light.

Photographed in the forest among dark bark and fallen pine needles, this chain reveals a color inspired by the forest itself. Ancient in spirit, uncommon by nature, and made to be worn every day.

Available for custom-fit permanent jewelry in my private Rock Springs suite.

Before garnet became a birthstone, it was a gemstone of antiquity.

For more than 5,000 years, its unmistakable red has appeared in treasured jewelry, from ancient Egyptian adornment to Roman signet rings. This necklace carries that history forward through a trio of exceptionally clear natural garnets, each generously sized and precisely faceted to reveal flashes of deep crimson in the light.

Suspended from a 14k gold-filled chain, this trio creates a remarkable necklace that feels both ancient and distinctly modern.

I create custom-fit permanent and removable jewelry in my private Rock Springs suite, offering exclusive handmade charms and connectors.
