Frame of Mind ⛵ June brings together Whidbey painters, Laura Hudson & Michael Howard, whose work highlights the expressive power of color theory and shape. Though distinct in subject and approach, both artists use structure, composition and layered mark-making to create works that are visually compelling and deeply considered.

Together, Hudson and Howard offer a contemplative collection, deeply attuned to the ways landscape and memory shape our inner lives — our frame of mind.

🖼 Join us during Langley's Art Walk for the opening reception on Saturday, June 6th from 5-7pm. The show is on view through Sunday, June 28th.

From the Garden 🌷 April’s exhibition brings together paintings by Robin Kerr and Mary Tapp, two artists united by shared devotion to the garden and what it holds as a subject, yet distinguished by their distinctly different visual languages. Rooted in observation and experience, both bodies of work explore the garden as a place of color, growth and ongoing attention. This month we are also featuring the bright ceramic vessels of Laura Hoppenjans.

🌸 You’re invited to join us during Langley's Art Walk for the opening reception on Sat, Apr 4 from 5-7pm. The show is on view through Sun, Apr 26.

Plus, Robin Kerr will be in the gallery for our Sundays with Michael Artist Talk Series on Sun, Apr 19 from 1-3pm! April Artist Talk: Robin Kerr

March’s exhibit 🦋 Patterns brings together a thoughtful group of artists exploring the quiet complexity of repetition. Through mark making, paint and glaze, each artist examines how patterns emerge, evolve and sustain our attention; echoing cycles found in nature.

🌷 Patterns features work by Elizabeth Bruno, Leslie Stoner, Lauren Boilini and Christine Westergaard.

You’re invited to join us during Langley’s Art Walk for the opening reception on Saturday, March 7th from 5-7pm. The show is on view through Sunday, March 29th.
