It’s a lot of work getting ready to vend at a fiber festival. Last year I did 12 shows. This year I am only doing 5. Wish I could spend ALL my time doing this thing I love💜🌈🧶🦙🐑 Will I see you there?

It all fit. I am gobsmacked by that. Also this skein is H U G E!!! 1,178 yards. Prolly a DK light worsted weight-but have not officially measured that yet. Proper pics later today…if the beast is dry!

Getting set up to ply. As a side note, this is the fastest I’ve ever spun this many oz fiber. I feel proud of myself ☺️ Taking advantage of snowmageddon to enjoy even more time to spin. is coming up, and I’m hoping to have restocked my rack!! Have any of you made something with handspun I made? I’d love to see!!

13.5 oz second half organized and locked onto a post to stay in order. This thing has come in handy so many tines!! It’s a dowel glued to a hole in a decorative banister topper! Painted of course because (lovingly) I don’t like plain wood. The mix of fibers in this combo is long: (rest in comments) How’s everyone doing? I’m still trying to reconcile this world I live in…Everyone please keep yourself safe💜💜💜

What’s everyone doing during the big storm? I’m having rage over all the stupid s**t ICE is doing and I don’t mean the precipitous kind🤬🤬🤬I’m also spinning up some baby batts that have languished in the inventory for a while. This is 5 different sets, 27 oz total. Spinning one ply random, and one ply in “rainbow” order for an ombré effect. Love this method of combining several color-ways, it produces a very slow transition overall, great for a sweater spin!!!

I am sick, but I’m also Mom… can I borrow someone’s cape??? Because my little is also sick. And nothing is worse than needing to be cared for when YOU are the caregiver…many thanks to my Hubs for the liquid dinner (milkshakes) and my Girlies at work for stepping up so I can rest…
Though all this shivering may bring back my waistline 😂😂😂. How’s everyone else doing? Tell me how you pass the time when you’re sick!!!
