It's an arguement everyday, which I shouldn't have to put up with!!
But I love my grandchild to death -how can I get it thru their stubborn head that this behavior is not right or should be tolerated!! It's not acceptable!!

I'm so angry right now and I need to vent...I would like to know if I am wrong or am I right, please help me on this...
I'm a 60 yr old grandmother , am I wrong for feeling that young adults today must RESPECT their grandparents, parents our elders whatever it's a given, right? Or must we have to earn the respect from our grand kids?
Just because they're over 18 that we must treat them as equals since we are both adults?? We let them stay in our home, they eat, drink, lay around , do lil nothing, don't really help with much, but the minute you ask them to help out with a chore , they raise their voice and yell at you saying Blah Blah Blah I must earn respect before I get their respect??
Am I wrong ? And Are they right?
I'm about to snap please any suggestions or advice
